Yoga Chaitanya's Refund Policy

I understand that I have to pay the initial booking amount of $500 within one week to secure the seat. I will bear any additional transaction charges of the digital platform used ( Payment gateway or WISE).
I understand that the booking amount is non-refundable. It cannot be canceled. If I cancel the training due to any unavoidable reasons, then the booking fee can be adjusted for any other future training within one year from the booking date. For this, I have to inform Yoga Chaitanya International Institute, forty-five days before the start date of the training. If I fail to inform Yoga Chaitanya International Institute forty-five days prior, then the amount is non-adjustable.
I understand that I can transfer the booked seat to a friend or family member if I cancel the training due to unavoidable reasons. For this, I have to inform Yoga Chaitanya International Institute forty-five days before the start date of the training. If I fail to inform Yoga Chaitanya International Institute forty-five days prior, then the amount is non-adjustable. This transfer of booked seat has been agreed upon by Yoga Chaitanya International Institute in writing and I will bear the additional seat transferring charges of $50.
I understand and agree that once I have physically checked into Yoga Chaitanya International Institute, Goa / Thailand, or joined the course in person I shall become responsible and liable to pay Yoga Chaitanya the complete course fees. This fee becomes non-refundable, non-cancellable, and non-transferable unless otherwise agreed by Yoga Chaitanya in writing.
The remaining course fee/balance fee shall be paid in Card/Cash. If I cannot join the course for some reason, then I am NOT liable to pay the remaining course fee.
If I fall sick due to Covid or if the course has to be stopped due to Covid restrictions or any similar reasons the school may consider transferring my pro-rata balance course fee to any future course of my choice or the remaining course can be conducted online. The ultimate decision lies with Yoga Chaitanya International Institute.
I understand and agree that once I have joined the course physically, Yoga Chaitanya International Institute will not be liable to refund me the course fee if I choose to drop out of the course due to any reasons or circumstances.
I understand that Yoga Chaitanya International Institute reserves the right to terminate my participation or continuation in the course if it finds my presence disturbing to the group process or if I am not abiding by the code of conduct. In such a case, Yoga Chaitanya International Institute reserves the right to refund my fee. If it does it will only be on a prorated basis ( Booking Charges of USD 500 shall not be refundable).
I understand that if Yoga Chaitanya International Institute has to cancel/re-schedule/stop the course for any situation beyond its control such as any pandemic or war-related restrictions or any other reason deemed fit by them, before the beginning of the course, then I am entitled to a full refund except the $500 which serves as the booking amount as well as the non-contact hours online module if applicable. Yoga Chaitanya International Institute will also not be liable to cover any other losses I might incur such as travel, insurance, etc. due to any such cancellations.
Yoga Chaitanya International Institute reserves the right to make minor amendments to the course content, teachers, or accommodation if needed and the same cannot be used by me to ask for a refund.

Terms & Conditions & Code of Conduct

Please read fully before submitting your application.

I voluntarily and willingly choose to participate in the yoga classes, any yoga teacher training programs, workshops, courses, drop-in classes, yoga retreats, and meditation classes offered by Yoga Chaitanya International Institute including but not limited to Meditation, Pranayama, Asana, Chanting, Philosophy, Hands on adjustment, any other yoga related class, exercise or event (including social or spiritual events), and any other related yoga activity offered by Yoga Chaitanya International Institute.
I recognize that the yoga training, event, workshop, and Yoga Classes in which I will be participating may require physical and mental exertion. I further understand and acknowledge that the Event, training, and Yoga Classes may expose me to many inherent risks, including accidents, injury, illness, and so forth. I assume all risk of injuries associated with my participation in the Event, training, and Yoga Classes, including but not limited to injuries, strains, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather, including high heat and/or humidity, contact with nature/animals, local food, and all other such risks being known and appreciated by me.
I understand that it is my full responsibility to consult a physician/doctor before and regarding my participation in the Event, any yoga teacher training programs, Yoga/Meditation retreat, and Yoga Classes, and I understand Yoga Chaitanya International Institute has no medical obligation/responsibility upon its students, and there is no medical staff in the premises of the school. Any hospital, clinic, or local doctor I may need to attend to is not related to Yoga Chaitanya International Institute, and therefore Yoga Chaitanya International Institute is not responsible for any medical approach received privately outside of the premises of Yoga Chaitanya International Institute.
I represent and warrant that I am physically fit and I have no medical condition, that would prevent my full participation in the Event, any Yoga Teacher Training Programs, Yoga/Meditation retreat, and Yoga Classes, I have applied to join. In case of having a previous injury, I am responsible for the outcome of my participation in the Event and/or Yoga Classes, Training and I don’t expect Yoga Chaitanya International Institute or any of its teachers to provide me with any consultation, treatment, or recommendation for my physical condition, at any given time of the Event/Yoga Classes, Training.
I understand that in the event of any injury, in need to consult a doctor, or in need of hospitalization, I shall be responsible for my treatment and any fees or amounts related to such consultation or hospitalization. I also understand that Yoga Chaitanya International Institute can facilitate contact with external medical resources, but it is not Yoga Chaitanya’s responsibility to acquire/arrange these services for me.
If I am pregnant, I understand that I participate fully at my own risk and that of my unborn child/children. Also, if I have any existing injury or problem whatsoever (including but not limited to injuries, heart problems, neck or back problems, asthma, epilepsy, ulcer, hernia, high blood pressure), I understand that I may be not fit to participate in certain Yoga Classes, in which case I will inform Yoga Chaitanya International Institute immediately of such condition, and Yoga Chaitanya shall have the full authority to prohibit me from participating in such Yoga Classes if need be. In any case, whether I have disclosed or have not disclosed such an injury or problem, I understand that if despite my injury or problem I still decide to participate in the Yoga Classes, I would be participating fully at my own risk.
I understand that from time to time during Yoga Classes, and Yoga Training the instructor may physically adjust students’ form and posture, and I hereby accept receiving such adjustments. If I do not want such physical adjustments for any reason whatsoever, notably because of an injury, or any other personal reason, I will so inform the instructor at each class I attend. I also acknowledge that if I do wish to receive such adjustments, it is my responsibility to inform the yoga instructor/teacher when an adjustment has gone as far as I desire at that time.
I hereby take full and sole responsibility for any liability of loss or damage to personal property associated with the Event, the Yoga Classes, training, or any other events held by Yoga Chaitanya International Institute. Damage to fragile items will be charged.
I understand and agree that Yoga Chaitanya International Institute may change the course content, schedule, teachers, and any other academic, methodological, technical, or logistic aspect of the Event, training, workshop, or retreat I am participating in, without previous notice.
As a student of your training course, I give consent to my contact details (name, email, city, country, and phone number) being passed onto your partners like Yoga Alliance Professional, and Laughter Yoga International University so they can contact me directly and invite me to register as a Leader/Trainee and Teacher. And I understand that I have the option of opting out of this registration process.
I acknowledge that Yoga Chaitanya International Institute may take photographs and/or videos of the Event that may include me, and I hereby represent that I have no objection to Yoga Chaitanya International Institute taking such photographs and/or videos. I authorize Yoga Chaitanya International Institute, its assignees, and transferees to copyright, use, and publish the same in print and/or electronically. I agree that Yoga Chaitanya International Institute may use such photographs and/or videos of me with or without my name and for any lawful purpose, including for example such purposes as publicity, illustration, advertising, and Web content. I also understand I can take my pictures and videos, to post on my personal Social Media, but only and only if all my classmates and teachers agree and feel comfortable with me posting these pics on public posts on my social media accounts.
Change of Yoga training Course is not allowed.
Consumption of Alcohol, any Kind of Drugs, Smoking, or Non-Vegetarian Food is not allowed in the housing and Yoga Shala /studio premises.
I will take responsibility for my valuables and belongings. I understand that Yoga Chaitanya International Institute is not responsible for any of my belongings.
Silence is a must in the Yoga Shala premises. Do not wear shoes inside the Yoga Studio (Yoga Shala) and accommodation.
You must not arrive late to any class, the school will issue warnings, but if you repeat this behavior, the school has the right to terminate my training.
Your attendance is a must in all classes, including tests/homework given by the teacher(s). I understand that I should bring all course materials to every class (yoga mat, manuals, charts, and proper clothing).
Females are not allowed to wear Swimwear in any of the classes. I understand that I Should wear a proper sports bra for yoga practice. I cannot wear Skirts or Dresses for practice and for all Asana, Adjustment, Methodology, and Teaching Practicum Classes.
I understand that I cannot take any Ayurvedic Treatments (such as panchakarma) while on the yoga training course/ Retreat.
As a female, I am sensitive to my body and I understand that I should avoid all Inverted Postures while I am on my period.
I understand that Yoga Chaitanya International Institute has the right to terminate my training if I do not abide by the Code of Conduct.
I have read and accept all rules and regulations given by the Yoga Chaitanya International Institute and its code of conduct and will accept any suggestions given by the teacher(s).
I understand that I should send a non-refundable deposit of 500 USD of the course’s fees to confirm my space on the program.

After having read this waiver and knowing these facts, and in consideration of my participation in the event, training, retreat, and workshop I agree, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, to Hold Harmless, Waiver, Release, And Covenant Not To Sue Yoga Chaitanya International Institute, its trainers, its officers, agents, employees, organizers, representatives, and successors from any responsibility, liabilities, demands, actions, or claims of any nature whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by me, or to any property belonging to me, while participating in the Events, training, retreat, classes and Yoga Chaitanya’s activities, or while in, on or upon the premises where the activity is being conducted.
