Teaching Practice and Feedback

We have a proper teaching practice class in the Yoga Therapy Teacher Training program. You will get opportunities to teach the Iyengar Yoga Postures for yoga therapy. Initially, you will start teaching one-on-one and then teaching in small groups.

Finally, you will lead and teach a larger group at the end of the course. You will practice pranayama, mudras, and meditation teaching in their respective classes.

In the laughter yoga module, you will practice:

Practicum & Final assessment

Students will go through three types of assessments:
First is a written exam, then they have to demonstrate the techniques like:
Asana, Pranayama, or Meditation.
Finally, they will go through the teaching practicum. In teaching practicum, they have to teach the complete asana class.

Final Practicum of Yoga Therapy Teacher Training program:

You have to lead and teach a 90-minute self-designed yoga therapy class. Students have to submit a case study. Design the case study using the holistic approach of yoga therapy skills. It can be on particular health challenges like chronic pain, heart disease, and back pain. Students can also choose any other topic for case studies. The mentored practicum prepares students for real-world scenarios. For both group settings and private practice.

I am Sukhvinder Singh, founder and director of Yoga Chaitanya International Institute. I will be your lead teacher/trainer in Yoga Therapy TTC in India.

I was born in India in a spiritual Sikh family. My philosophical, yogic, and Vedic education started at the age of 13 years along with my primary education. After schooling, I did Engineering.

Then I started working with different MNCs for almost one decade, but I was missing something in my life. So I pursued my passion for yoga and meditation.

I started visiting different Yoga and meditation ashrams. Did many meditative therapies such as mystic rose, no mind, born again, and vipassana meditation. 

I am certified in Hatha Yoga from Bharatiya Vidya Bhawan (A subsidiary of Bihar School of Yoga). ERYT500 from Yoga Alliance USA (United States) in :
